Pictures of Maputo

Recently we met a couple from Malaysia. A cell phone company recruited the wife to set up their billing process on a short-term assignment. The husband is freelancing and volunteering. He may help us market coconut oil. Here is a blog he set up with pictures of Mozambique I thought you'd enjoy. Keep in mind he has only been here a couple of weeks and has not seen all the sides of Maputo. www.beautifulmozambique.blogspot.com (Sorry, the link feature does not want to cooperate.)

Hi Steve and Rachel,

Thanks for the brief mention about my blogspot. :-) I am trying to see the beautiful sides of Mozambique - the way God would like us to see, and I believe that God is going to visit Mozambique soon. Just come to the beach near Holiday Inn every morning, especially during the weekends, and see how people pray earnestly to Jesus. I have never seen people praying as fervently as this out in the open.

Yes, I am looking forward to work with Steve on the marketing and branding of the coconut oil. We should also leverage on the media expertise that God has given me over the years. Incidentally, I am a chemist by training from Monash Australia, and Malaysia used to be a major producer of coconut oil (copra). We should get together as soon as possible and make full use of my 3 months here in Maputo, which is coming to an end by early November.

Cheers
